

Hi, I’m Sarah!
Hi, I'm Sarah, and welcome to Sarah's Homemade Dough & Delights! From an early age, I’ve had a deep passion for cooking and baking. I even enrolled in culinary school in my younger years, but life had other plans, and I had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances.
At just 21 years old, shortly after having my son, I was diagnosed with a chronic disease that left me debilitated far too often. Even after multiple surgeries to address the condition, I continued to battle an underlying autoimmune disorder. Through it all, my faith and determination have carried me forward. I give thanks to God, who has given me the strength to navigate these challenges.
Despite the hardships, I rediscovered my love for cooking and baking, which led me to start my sourdough journey almost two years ago. I was captivated by the natural fermentation process and the gut-healing benefits of sourdough, a time-honored tradition used for centuries in baking. What began as an experiment in my kitchen quickly turned into a creative outlet and a way to share my love of food with others.
This business is more than just a way to share baked goods. It’s a way for me to stay strong and active for my son, who is autistic and, like me, has been diagnosed with a chronic condition. Now 19 years old, my son may never live independently, so it’s my greatest joy and responsibility to care for him. Through Sarah's Homemade Dough & Delights, I find purpose and a way to create meaningful moments for other families, one loaf, cookie, or pizza at a time.
